Brief and Initial Moodboard
The Jellyfier is the first concept in a series called "CONCEPT CREATION", made for the educational YouTube channel "POLYCOSM" as a collaborative effort between myself and artist Omercan Cirit.
The brief:
‣ Create a nautical-themed sci-fi weapon generated by the power of a jellyfish-like alien life form.
‣ Jellyfish works as a power generator and will be attached onto various weapons in order to power them.
‣ Weapon could be a handheld.
‣ Bioshock aesthetics mixed with personality and humor of Borderlands.
‣ Jellyfish acts as a silent companion that the main protagonist talks to as he explores.
‣ Influences from diesel/steampunk and retrofuturism.
